As Direct Support Professionals, there are moments when our work becomes much more than a job. The people we support often become friends, even family. Aliza shares a touching story about someone she cares for who told her that her support felt like a mother's love. These are the experiences that leave a lasting mark on both us and those we care for.

This individual told me ‘I know you’re not my mom but you take care of me like mothers do.’ Made me want to cry right there. These are moments that make me never want another job.' - Aliza Bencze.
