📖 A Story of Hope: Kelly's Story

After the heartbreaking loss of her mother, Kelly found herself caught in a cycle of addiction, abuse, and homelessness. Despite facing life-threatening health battles and hitting rock bottom, she discovered that God had never left her.

Through the faith-based women's program at the Downtown Rescue Mission, Kelly found healing, restored her relationship with Christ, and began looking toward the future with hope.

Every Friday, our guests come together for a time of worship, encouragement, and biblical teaching. These moments provide an opportunity to grow in faith, find hope, and be reminded that God is at work in every season.

We're grateful for this time of fellowship and for all who help make Friday Chapel a meaningful part of life at the Downtown Rescue Mission. ❤️

Every child deserves the opportunity to simply be a kid.

One of the ways we help protect the privacy and dignity of the children staying at the Downtown Rescue Mission is by having the school bus pick them up first and drop them off last. It's a small detail that makes a big difference, allowing them to attend school without drawing attention to their living situation.

Sometimes, the greatest acts of compassion are the ones most people never see. ❤

A heartfelt thank you to Holding LLC for generously donating 50 backpacks for the children at the Downtown Rescue Mission!

As students prepare for a new school year, these backpacks will help equip the children we serve with the supplies they need to start the year with confidence. Your generosity is making a meaningful difference in the lives of local families.

Faith isn't built in the middle of the storm, it grows in the quiet moments when we choose to trust and obey God. The decisions we make today prepare us for whatever tomorrow may bring.

For over a decade, our campus lawn mower has faithfully served the Downtown Rescue Mission. After years of daily use, it has reached the end of its service life and we need to replace it.

We're seeking:

Zero-turn mower (60")
Stand-on mower (42" or 48")

🏀 A fresh new look for our gym!

We're excited to share that our gym floor has officially been refinished! This space serves the men, women, and children on our campus and is also used by local schools and community organizations throughout the year.

A special thank you to for their outstanding work and partnership in bringing this project to life!

Today was filled with generosity at the Downtown Rescue Mission!

We were blessed to receive two incredible donations Bombas socks and a large donation of eggs. These gifts will help us provide essential items and nutritious meals for the men, women, and children we serve each day.

Every donation, big or small, helps us meet real needs and reminds our guests that they are cared for by a compassionate community! 💙
