Should we prepare for Heaven?
Absolutely.
In fact, we can start living NOW based on how we want things to go THEN...
.. and, usher in the presence of our future each moment.
Here’s how and why.

God speaks.
He is always speaking.
And when we step back, pause, and reflect…
… we generally know what to do in any situation.
We start… with His heart.
The message of the Gospel is that—
⭐️ You will be fully like WHO God designed (and destined) you to be,
AND
⭐️ You will be fully like Jesus.
And those two realities aren’t at odds with one another. They fit together!

There’s a lot of disagreement (by GREAT people) as to what the 2nd coming of Jesus looks like, especially in terms of timelines and details.
We can ALL agree on one thing, though:
The 2nd coming will look RADICALLY different than Jesus’ first coming.

People talk a lot about “doing life together” and “community.”
The New Testament has a word for it—
KOINONIA.
It means far more than just “knowing” or “hanging” out or other “surface type” of stuff...
It means profoundly deep connection— of being fully known and fully accepted.
It’s an overflow of the same kind of love God has for each of us.
And when we experiecne it now, it’s a foretaste of the deep connections we’ll experience in Heaven— with God AND with each other.
Not only are pastors “called” by God, but plumbers and painters and politicians and anyone else can be called, too…
… and that means the work you do every single day can be worship.

We were created for two reasons:
1️⃣ Relationship
2️⃣ Ruling, reigning, stewardship
💞
The Fall didn’t erase either...
It postponed our realizing it, but God already had a place of full restoration in place.

Worship wasn’t designed to be a “church service” in a building. Rather, it was created to be a way of life…

Three things to remember about worship
👇👇👇👇👇
1️⃣ Look UP
(because worship is not about you, your musical preferences, your style, etc.— it’s about God.)
2️⃣ Look AHEAD
(worship brings us a snapshot of the future.)
3️⃣ Look DOWN
(worship impacts where you work and live and go to school and enjoy friendships and hobbies and everything else.)
