21 years ago today we did our very first performance of Video Games Live! It took place at the Hollywood Bowl with the LA Phil. One of the coolest nights of our lives. A lot of people thought the idea was crazy and not many people would show up. The exact opposite happened and we've been touring it ever since. 560 performances later! Below are just a few of the Hollywood celebrities that attended. Many game designers and developers were there as well. Including folks who created Halo, Warcraft, Metal Gear Solid, Sonic the Hedgehog, God of War, Pong, Tomb Raider, Earthworm Jim, Kingdom Hearts, Beyond Good & Evil, Everquest II, Medal of Honor, Tron, Myst and others. It was the first time any of that music was ever performed LIVE! One of the most unforgettable moments of the night was the finale, when we brought out all of the game composers whose music was featured in the show. Over 30 people! (pic below). An incredible celebration, and a night so many of us will never forget. ❤️

Absolutely EPIC audience at our show last night in Austin, TX with the Austin Symphony Orchestra conducted by Maestro Pablo Zamora at the Long Center! Big standing ovation at the end. The folks in Texas always seem to be a bit louder than other places in the U.S.

Video Games Live is proud to announce an epic collaboration with Blizzard Entertainment! We will be doing the Blizzard 35th Anniversary Official Video Game Symphony - 2026 China Tour. We will be performing in 7 cities across China in 2 weeks this November! Cities include Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Xi'an, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Wuhan. We've created some great new segments and World Premieres and will be performing some of the greatest songs and cinematics from World of Warcraft, Overwatch, StarCraft, Diablo, Hearthstone and Heroes of the Storm! Epic music by our longtime great friends Russell Brower, Jason Hayes, Neal Acree, Glenn Stafford, Derek Duke, Peter McConnell, David Arkenstone and many more.
