This tattoo is a year older than I am.

Originally tattooed in 1990, this Army veteran and 6 friends all got the same tattoo after they were sworn into service at the same time. Thirty-six years later, I had the privilege of breathing new life into a piece that’s carried decades of memories.

It’s moments like these that remind me tattoos aren’t just art—they’re milestones in someone’s life.
