Our barn manager, Kris, is always joking that she’s going to start a monthly “Outfit of the Month” competition for the best “I had 5 minutes to get to the barn” outfit. 😂
She nominated Maddie for the August title, so here she is with her partner in crime… and apparently her fashion consultant. 🐴
Congrats, Maddie! We expect you to defend your title next month. 🤪

Last night, our barn manager, Jay, and his friend, Dean, spent the evening helping some of the youngens learn breakaway, and it was so much fun to watch.
Jay & Dean have a true gift for teaching. Not only are they incredibly talented with a rope, but they have a way of breaking things down so even the youngest ones can understand and build confidence. Patience, encouragement, and a genuine love for helping others learn; that’s something special.
I’m secretly hoping one day they’ll open a youth roping program out here because they’d be amazing at it. Their heart is in it, and it shows every time they work with these kids.
Thank you, Jay and Dean, for investing your time in the next generation. It doesn’t go unnoticed.

Everyone meet the newest show lambs! They’re settling in, soaking up the love, and already keeping the barn entertained.
One of the greatest blessings of HorsePower is getting to watch the next generation grow; not just as exhibitors, but as young men and women.
We’re honored to provide a place where families can raise their 4-H and FFA projects, work side by side, make lifelong memories, and glorify God through the lessons of responsibility, perseverance, and caring for His creations.
We can’t wait to watch these little ones grow and see where this journey leads. 🤎

These guys put in the work day after day, long before rodeo night ever rolls around. Team roping isn’t just a sport to them, it’s a lifestyle.
Last night at the Taylor Rodeo, the results may not have been what they were hoping for, but they showed up, competed with grit, and represented HorsePower Ranch with class.
We’re proud of Dean, Zion, and Cory; of every run, every practice, and every mile of the journey.
