Visual Vibrations

Rushed home after doing visuals the other night to film some of the lunar eclipse!

We had so much fun running visuals for Fern Murphy last Thursday at the HI-FI Indy | HI-FI Annex! We were running dual projectors to create an immersive atmosphere. It was a fun challenging project and we are happy with the results. Here’s some screen content and a few clips wide angle shots capturing the full set. The recorder we used to capture our set is kinda lofi but still wanted to share some of it with you.

Goldie is helping me prep our set. Catch us at the HI-FI Indy | HI-FI Annex this Thursday doing visuals for Fern Murphy for the release of their new album Via Negative. We filmed a lot of these scenes while working on the music video including a lot of takes that didn’t make it into the final cut. It’s gonna be an incredible experience with dreamy tunes and psychedelic visuals.

Come to StorageSpace for the awesome bff show tonight and check out the collab between __visual_vibrations__ and Jess Dunn!

I love these video printers by Sony. The prints look great, they never jam *knock on wood* and they use a thermal technology so print heads don’t clog. Even with being vintage gear I get a great print every time. Unfortunately the cartridge isn’t in production anymore so I just hoard print packs like a squirrel until I find a project worthy of its awesomeness.
