Bruce Garrison, CEO of Patchwork Global met today with Jeermal Sylvester of Marian University Indianapolis Saint Joseph’s College to explore partnership opportunities in workforce development and advance the vision of our Workforce Culture Lab.

Immigrant and refugee communities bring professional experience, technical skills, multilingual abilities, resilience, leadership, and valuable cross-cultural perspectives to employers and to Indiana’s economic growth. Yet, this talent can still face barriers related to professional networks, credential recognition, access to career pathways, and navigating local workforce systems.

We appreciate Jeermal Sylvester and Saint Joseph’s College at Marian University Indianapolis for a productive conversation and for their willingness to explore initiatives that strengthen both people and Indiana’s workforce.
