What a night!

The 2026 Cruz Pedregon Open House & Car Show was the perfect place to officially unveil the new Racing with Crohn’s endurance race team and race car. The car was a hit, with fans and car enthusiasts stopping by all night to check it out and learn more about our newest adventure.

But the best part was the people. Ty spent the evening at our booth meeting racing fans from across the world, signing autographs, handing out new Racing with Crohn’s stickers, and connecting with Crohn’s patients and families.

We were also proud to be part of an evening where 100% of the proceeds benefited the Hailey Buzbee Foundation. Ty even got to catch up with a friend from the Riley Children’s Foundation.

What a way to kick off this new chapter. We’re excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to take Racing with Crohn’s to the track!

It’s bigger than anything we’ve done before.

VIR 2026
What a rollercoaster of a weekend.

Day 1:
Unfortunately, I didn’t get to race. We had mechanical issues with the car that put the car back on the trailer. It always stinks when these things happen, but that’s racing. I had a great time hanging with the J3T team at VIR.

Day 2:
I wasn’t planning on racing, but was asked if I’d like to drive for a different team, , and race their Nissan 370Z. We battled a few cooling issues throughout the race, but overall the car handled well, and I had a great time behind the wheel. It was nice to meet the Plan Z team. Thanks for inviting me to drive.

It was also great having some of my family come out for the first time to watch me race cars. Even with all the ups and downs, VIR is an awesome track, and I’m grateful I still got the chance to get out there. knows how to put on a great event!

Today I ran my first Half Marathon with some of my XC teammates. I finished 1st in my age group with a total time of 1:27:13. I was hoping to go a bit faster but a side stitch at around mile 9 ruined my momentum. All in all, I had a blast!

DECA ICDC in Atlanta was a blast. I met some awesome people and got to experience a lot of the city. Running at Georgia Tech was cool, and the World of Coke and Braves game were also highlights. Already looking forward to next year!

Earlier this week I earned 2nd place in Personal Finance at Indiana DECA SCDC. This qualifies me for ICDC!

I am excited for the opportunity to compete at the next level.
