Well We decided not to make the Trip out west for the in Sonoma.
But it gave us the opportunity to support and Marc Ingwersen at their Re-Grand opening Event with El Bandido Yankee Tequila.

And it was only 120 miles round trip 🤣

If I had to sum up our weekend in one word, it would be… frustrated.

Drag racing is a constant cycle of diagnosing problems, finding solutions, and learning from both. This weekend, we simply missed one. A bad ignition coil in Q4 carried into first round, and we didn’t identify it in time. Sometimes the simplest problems are the hardest to find.

That’s racing.

This sport has a way of keeping you humble. It constantly challenges you to sharpen your skills, think more critically, and become better at solving problems under pressure. Some lessons come easy, while others are experiences that stay with you for a long time.

The encouraging part is that we know our bikes are fast, our team is working incredibly hard, and every weekend we continue to learn. We’ll take this lesson, get back to work, and come back stronger.

What can I say? Brayden Davis and I showed we have some serious performance, especially once we started getting the 60’ figured out. Unfortunately, we both turned on the red light instead of the win light in round one.

What a lot of people don’t realize is just how challenging this class really is. The margin for error is razor thin, and every little detail matters.

The good news is both bikes are very fast and we brought them home in one piece. This weekend has both of us focused on redemption in Ohio.

Our team is learning a lot, and everything is starting to click. The performance is there. Now it’s time for the riders to do their part and start turning on some more win lights.
