Build Your Future Indiana

You don't need another thing on your plate. We know.

But a BYF Construction Club isn't "another thing" — it's a fully built curriculum, ready-to-go activities, and ongoing support, all provided at no cost to you. You show up and facilitate. We handle the rest.

Oh, and there's a stipend for your time.

Low lift for you. High impact for your students. This Careers in Construction Month, that trade might just be worth it.

Only 7% of young people even consider a construction career. Meanwhile, the industry needs 349,000 new workers in 2026 alone.

That gap isn't about opportunity — it's about awareness. Kids don't picture six-figure earning potential, cutting-edge technology, or a debt-free path to a stable trade when they hear "construction." They picture something outdated.

October is Careers in Construction Month. Help us close that gap — talk to a student about what construction actually looks like today! 👉 https://loom.ly/cklC-sY

🔨 Today, we’re celebrating the people who make things happen.

On National Tradesmen Day, we’re recognizing the skilled tradespeople who build our homes, keep our communities running, fix what’s broken, and turn plans into something real.

At BYF Indiana, we believe the next generation should know just how many opportunities are waiting for them in the skilled trades—and that a career built with your hands can build a pretty incredible future, too. 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️

To the tradespeople who teach, build, repair, create, and keep Indiana moving: Thank you for what you do!

Happy National Tradesmen Day!

👀 Educators, what if leading a construction club came with a little something extra?

BYF Construction Clubs are FREE for schools—and **club facilitators receive a stipend** for leading students through hands-on construction activities. 🔨💰

Plus, BYF provides the lesson plans, slides, materials, and support you need to get started. You bring the students. We’ll help you bring the build. 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️

🇺🇸 Today, we remember.

On Patriots Day, we honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and remember the first responders, service members, volunteers, and countless people who showed courage and compassion in the days that followed.

As an organization dedicated to building the next generation of Indiana’s workforce, we’re reminded that strong communities are built by people who are willing to serve, step up, and help rebuild when others need them most.

Today, we remember those we lost and honor the spirit of service that continues to bring communities together. ❤️🤍💙
