Tomorrow! We’re excited to share the Indiana State Library’s State Employees' Community Campaign (SECC) events, including Dolly Day on Thursday, Sept. 17, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Join us near the circulation desk, as we kick off the campaign. All contributions support Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which mails free, age-appropriate books to children from birth to age five. The program now serves all 92 counties across Indiana. Let’s celebrate literacy and start this year’s SECC strong!
We will have a “Dress Like Dolly” contest. Gals can dress in their favorite dolly apparel, and gents can wear gingham and denim. Wear a Dolly shirt and make a $2 donation. Participants can buy cupcakes for $3 and lemonade for $2. There will also be a $5 basket raffle entry available during Dolly Day! Come out and support a great cause!
