It warms our hearts to hear shrieks of joy when a student discovers something new right here on the farm. 🌱

One of our spring field trip participants from Legacy Christian School in Noblesville found a new interest in what grows in our garden beds. When interacting with the growing herbs, this student shouted, "This is the most beautiful thing I've ever smelled!" We would definitely have to agree. 🍓🥒

When you support The STEM Connection, you are facilitating hands-on experiences that give students the opportunity to interact with nature in new and exciting ways.

This summer, TSC is full of life in more ways than one. As we continue to grow our programming, we also have a need to grow our team. We are so excited to welcome High School and Young Adult interns to our summer team!

From supporting summer campers to working behind the scenes, these changemakers will be vital to the success of our programming over the next few months.

⚡ Summer Camps have officially begun and the energy on the farm is electrifying! ⚡

Our STEM Future leaders have already dug into engaging STEM activities and leadership skill-building. So far, they have tie-dyed their camp shirts and have learned the power of communication on a team, a skill every scientist needs to have. Later this week, SFLs will participate in community science and directly support Hoosier Riverwatch data so scientists can learn more about Indiana's watersheds.

There are a few spots left to join our STEM Future Leaders as they tackle real-world challenges in a fun and engaging way.

The STEM Connection prioritizes bringing STEM principles to youth who are underrepresented in STEM careers. To meet this need, all of our programming is subsidized to remove barriers to high-quality STEM education.

In 2025, over 50% of our participants were from low-income households. We are thankful for the families who continue to trust us to deliver engaging STEM education to their children year after year.

Summer Camps start NEXT WEEK and we are so excited to have campers back on the farm!

🌎 Becoming Earth Superheros while learning about Earth's atmosphere
🐿️ Investigating native Indiana animals and their habitats
