Minneapolis Convention Center Completes transformational Meeting Room Renovation

Minneapolis Convention Center has completed a $25 million renovation of all 87 meeting rooms, updating more than 93,000 square feet of space for planners and attendees. The multi-year project includes upgraded electrical, data, fiber and audio infrastructure, new LED lighting with theatrical-grade controls, improved HVAC diffusers, modern finishes and sustainable acoustic wall panels. The center also introduced new food-and-beverage options, including Mill City Pizza Kitchen, Mill City Market and portable café concepts. The 1.6 million-square-foot facility offers 475,000 square feet of exhibit space, two ballrooms and a 3,400-seat auditorium.
