Our interns spent the afternoon with professionals in our Structural, Investigative, and Bridge Groups during this week’s lunch and learn. They gained valuable insights into each discipline, learned about projects, and explored the career paths available within the engineering industry.

Thank you to FHWA Chief Administrator Sean McMaster and FDOT Secretary Jared Perdue for sharing their perspectives during today's discussion at the Floridians for Better Transportation (FBT) 2026 Summit. American Structurepoint Senior Vice President Kent Moore valued the opportunity to hear firsthand about the priorities and opportunities shaping Florida's transportation future.

Check out a day in the life of Zoe Fisher, one of our interns in our Utility Infrastructure Group! Zoe is a civil/environmental engineering student spending her summer at our Akron design center working on a large water main project in Ohio. She says this experience is helping her achieve her goal of becoming an engineer focused on improving water quality. When asked about why she chose American Structurepoint, Zoe said: “I chose American Structurepoint because of the focus on family and development.” We are glad you are here, Zoe!
