The transformation of Doris Cowherd Park is complete!

HWC was honored to provide design services for this exciting project, recently celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Completed in partnership with Indy Parks and Recreation and the City of Indianapolis Department of Metropolitan Development, the improvements include a new playground, walking loop trail, and refreshed event lawn.

HWC’s Matthew Fox, Rebecca Mahoney, and Alexis Stiffler were honored to attend the celebration.

The Puppies of Paoli returned to the 2026 AIM Ideas Summit in French Lick, and they were a conference favorite once again!

With help from PlayPros INKY, we created a dog park experience for attendees while raising support for the Orange County Humane Society.

A great milestone for City of Crawfordsville - Official! Construction has wrapped up on the Schenck Road project, and HWC was proud to provide design and inspection services throughout its delivery.

Our team, including Resident Project Representative Duane Pendleton, Troy Swan, and Jacob Kelley, was honored to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebrate this achievement with the community.

The countdown is on! In just one week, the Puppies of Paoli return to the 2026 Accelerate Indiana Municipalities (AIM) Ideas Summit in French Lick.

Stop by the HWC booths in the exhibit hall on September 29th and 30th for puppy snuggles, tail wags, and plenty of smiles. We're also excited to partner with PlayPros INKY this year to bring a dog park experience to the conference, all while supporting the OrangeCounty HumaneSociety!

Kickball, teamwork, and a great cause!

HWC’s Nick Hanratty, Grace Mappes, Laura Gustafson, Lukas Sipe, Jordan Donati, and Daniel Black enjoyed representing HWC at the Indianapolis Chapter of Engineers Without Borders’ annual kickball tournament fundraiser.

HWC was proud to join the Town of Montezuma in celebrating the ribbon cutting of its new Water Treatment Facility.

This $6.5 million investment represents a significant step forward for Montezuma’s drinking water infrastructure, helping address longstanding nitrate challenges while ensuring safe, reliable water for generations to come. The state-of-the-art facility features a reverse osmosis treatment system, upgraded wells, enhanced SCADA integration, new pumping and filtration systems, chlorine disinfection, backup power capabilities, and dedicated operational and laboratory space.

A special congratulations to HWC Project Manager Dustin Whalen and Vice President and Director of Water Resources Eric Smith, who spoke during the ceremony and helped bring this impactful project to life.

We are honored to have partnered with the Town of Montezuma and MSI Construction, INC. on a project that will strengthen public health, improve water quality, and support the community well into the future.

Congrats to the Town of Arcadia on the adoption of its Comprehensive Plan! HWC is proud to have guided the community through the development of the Plan. As northern Hamilton County continues to grow, Arcadia is strategically positioned to attract future investment while preserving the character and charm that make it unique.
