Mississippi ain’t just stalling; they’re running Robert Elliot through the same machinery that’s swallowed Black truth for generations. Silence is their opening move: a tactic to buy time, bury evidence, and wait for the public to lose focus. And what keeps me on alert is knowing exactly who gets to define his death. Dr. Staci “Jim Crow” Turner sits at the top of the medical examiner’s office, and her rulings on Black death have a documented pattern that makes the truth feel structurally out of reach. That’s why I don’t trust that we’ll ever get a full accounting of what happened to him. Keep his name loud because their silence is already doing its work. And be ready for that “undetermined” classification they use when they want a Black murder case to disappear. #mississippi #blm #realtalk #activism #jackiesacademy

Dr. Dee (@drdeeknight) on Threads • No water. No water in his lungs or airways. No water in his stomach. Or throat. My heart skipped a beat. It did the same when his picture fluttered down my timeline. It does the same for wanton injustice. It skips a lot of beats. Strange fruit on southern trees like drowning on a boat. 🖤

DREW COUNTY, WHAT HAPPENED TO MAC? Marquis “Mac” Martin disappeared from Drew County, Arkansas in February 2020. He was found no longer alive in March 2020, and more than six years later, there has still been no justice. This case has racism, threats, rumors, public records, disturbing images, and years of silence surrounding it. To be very clear, I am not accusing anyone of being involved in Mac’s case. I am discussing public information, and I will continue to do that. Please do not let Marquis Martin’s name disappear. Go to my Justice for Marquis Martin playlist. Research this case. Say his name. Make content. Demand answers. JUSTICE FOR MAC #MarquisMartin #Crime #TrueCrime #Unsolved #JusticeForMarquisMartin
