Today, we honor Juneteenth, the day that marks the end of slavery in the United States.

Although the Emancipation Proclamation was issued on January 1, 1863, many enslaved people in Confederate states remained unaware of their freedom. It wasn’t until June 19, 1865, when Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, and announced that enslaved people were free, that emancipation was finally enforced in the last Confederate state.

Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equality. As we commemorate this important day in American history, we reflect on the sacrifices of those who came before us and recommit ourselves to building a more just and inclusive future for all.

Good food, great music, and a lifelong bond. This past weekend, the Atlanta Area Alumni Chapter and their ladies gathered for a night out at a local brewhouse followed by an amazing Chicago cover band concert.

Moments like these remind us that brotherhood doesn't stop at graduation. We take great pride in seeing our alumni network continue to cultivate lifelong friendships and keep our brotherhood strong. Cheers to another successful event!

Huge congratulations to Brother Nat Milner, Union '90, on receiving this year's Thirst for Learning Award from EO New York City!

As the founder of Plant Ju**ie and Fireweed Consultants, Nat is an incredible builder who is always looking to solve new problems. But what truly sets him apart is his embodiment of EO’s core value: an insatiable curiosity and a hunger to keep growing, no matter how much experience you have.

Even after 16 years as an EO member, Nat still shows up to every learning event, fireside chat, and happy hour with the mindset of a true "SEEKER", someone driven by curiosity, connection, and the pursuit of new experiences that help everyone grow. On top of that, he brings that same dedication to the board as social chair.

Nat, your commitment to lifelong learning is a true inspiration to the Brotherhood. Congratulations on this incredibly well-deserved honor!

Loud TVs, Game 4 of the NBA playoffs, and a packed house couldn't stop the Atlanta Area Alumni Chapter from having an incredible Brothers' Night Out at Buffalo Wild Wings!

Beyond the wings and drinks, it was a true treat to welcome Brother Robert Beall back to the ATL for a surprise visit (and yes, he’s still a loyal Braves fan!).
