Built in 1967, the Tibbs Drive-In is the last standing drive-in of Indianapolis proper. All sound is now transmitted via shortwave radio. Bringing a portable radio is suggested if you plan on sitting outside of your vehicle. Please show up at least an hour prior to show time to ensure the best possible parking experience. Friday and Saturday nights can be very busy, be prepared. Bring a little cash to help keep lines short.

Join us at The Tibbs Drive-In on September 26th at 8pm for an unforgettable event! What Remains is a contemplative reminder that we are surrounded by wonders of the natural world, and these wonders are worth exploring. What Remains is part film and part performance, featuring a silent film created by Katelyn Calhoun of Calhoun Creative Consulting, and set to music co-composed by Forward Motion. Watch stunning visuals fused with adventurous music to thread together a story of nature’s beauty, and our place in it.

As if the creative elements of this project weren’t ambitious enough, we have decided to challenge ourselves further by premiering What Remains at Tibbs Drive-In Theater on September 26 at 8pm. That’s right, we’ll be showing it at a drive-in theater and broadcasting our live performance directly to your vehicle’s FM radio!
This is truly our most ambitious project to date, and I would love to see you there. Tickets are $30 per vehicle, and we will have space for up to 95 vehicles. Please help us spread the word to any music or film lovers you know by telling someone about our show, or liking/commenting/sharing this post! 9/25 is Dolly Parton day. So we booked Steel Magnolias to celebrate. Heart Of The Beast and Forgotten Island open Friday! We also have Resident Evil (director of Weapons and Barbarian), Shaun The Sheep: Beast Of Mossy Bottom, Buddy, Practical Magic 2, Spiderman: Brand New Day, and more!
October 25th is the last day of the 2026 season! (Use those pre-season sale tickets before they expire!)

The other two ticket booths are just about completed! Bit of a delay getting the custom glass but we’re almost there!
