When Nina decided at 18 that she wanted to groom dogs, her mom Lucinda quit her career as a professor and dietitian and enrolled in the same online grooming program alongside her. They did the coursework together, found an externship together, and converted their dining room into a shop in two hours flat. Walk & Groom Dogs, LLC opened January 2nd, 2020, and has been fully booked by word of mouth ever since.

We're grateful to have stayed close with Nina's family for years, and getting to share this feels like a gift. This is what it looks like when a family goes all in on each other.

KidsFirst Foundation is helping an orphanage in Kropyvnytskyi, Ukraine travel to the Morshyn, Lviv region for rehabilitation and rest. This is a safe city in Western Ukraine, far from the front lines, where children can, at least for a while, feel calm, relaxed, and regain strength. The children spend a significant portion of their time sheltering in Kropyvnytskyi feeling the stress and anxiety of war. These children are going through the stress and fears of war without support of parents and family. This orphanage is doing an outstanding job keeping these children safe, bringing joy into their lives, providing them with all their needs, and creating meaningful moments so they can still feel like children. Our goal is to collect $500 towards their trip. Whatever contribution you can provide is tax deductible and will be greatly appreciated. We will also provide an update with pictures.
