Easy Days Make You Faster
One of the biggest mistakes endurance athletes make is believing every workout has to be hard to be effective.
The reality?
Fitness doesn't improve during your hardest workout.
It improves afterward—when your body has time to recover and adapt.
Recovery runs increase blood flow, reduce muscle soreness, and prepare you for the next quality session without adding unnecessary fatigue.
If every workout feels like a race, you're likely training tired instead of training smarter.
This week, challenge yourself to slow down on your easy days. Trust the process, stay consistent, and let recovery work for you.
What pace do you struggle with more—running too fast on easy days or too slow?
⬇️ Tell us below!
When you start slouching in your run, your effort goes up and your pace, form, efficiency go down. Tell us what other things you do to work on your running posture other than run longer.

"Confidence isn't something I can give an athlete."
"It has to be earned.
One workout.
One recovery day.
One difficult conversation.
One race.
Over time those moments become proof that you're stronger than you thought."
"When did you first realize you were capable of more?" Tell me in the comments below

"I came to PXP Endurance as a Purdue student just weeks away from a Half Ironman that I wasn't prepared for. I had no idea how much that decision would change me."
Watching athletes grow is about so much more than finish times.
Since joining PXP Endurance, this athlete has transformed not only their performance but also their mindset.
Through consistent coaching, they learned how to overcome challenges, make smart decisions under pressure, understand their body, and race with confidence.
The results have been incredible:
🏊🚴🏃 Over an hour faster in the 70.3 distance
💪 Greater confidence as an athlete and as a person
🧠 The ability to adapt and problem-solve during races
🎯 A mindset that embraces challenges instead of avoiding them
As they shared:
"The skills and experiences I've gained at PXP Endurance have helped me become the best version of myself, embracing challenges and keeping a smile on my face through it all."
That's what great coaching is all about. Yes, we help athletes get faster—but more importantly, we help them build the confidence, resilience, and skills to take on challenges both in sport and in life.

Choosing a triathlon coach is about more than finding someone who can write a training plan. It's about finding someone with the experience, education, and commitment to help you become the best athlete you can be.
One question I hear often is, "What's the difference between USAT Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 coaching certifications?"
Here's the short answer:
Level 1 establishes the foundation of triathlon coaching, including training principles, athlete safety, and program design.
Level 2 builds on that foundation with advanced education and specialized knowledge in areas such as long-course racing, high performance, junior development, and paratriathlon.
Level 3 is the highest coaching certification awarded by USA Triathlon. It recognizes coaches who have demonstrated advanced knowledge, extensive coaching experience, continued professional development, and a proven commitment to developing athletes over the long term.
What does that mean for you?
It means you're working with a coach who has invested years into mastering the science and art of endurance coaching—not just creating workouts, but understanding how to individualize training, prevent burnout and injury, adapt to life's challenges, and help athletes perform when it matters most.
Whether your goal is:
✅ Finish your first sprint triathlon
✅ Qualify for the IRONMAN World Championship
✅ Set a personal best
✅ Balance training with a demanding career and family life
..your training should be built around you, not a one-size-fits-all plan.
I'm proud to be a USAT Level 3 Certified Coach because it represents a commitment to continuous learning and delivering the highest level of coaching I can provide. Every athlete deserves a coach who is invested in their success—not just on race day, but throughout the entire journey.
If you're looking for personalized coaching, accountability, and a coach who will meet you where you are while helping you reach goals you may not have thought possible, I'd love to talk.
Your next breakthrough starts with the right plan—and the right coach.

Great coaching doesn't just improve performance—it helps athletes reach levels they never thought possible.
We're incredibly proud of and what she has accomplished through hard work, consistency, and trusting the process.
🏆 She has consistently improved year after year, earning:
• 6th place at the World Championships
• Multiple National Championship podium finishes, including a National Championship
• Overall local victories
• Numerous personal records
• Seven consecutive years competing at World and National Championship events
"Before joining PXP Endurance, I coached myself. While I was more than qualified to write my own training, I found I was either not pushing myself enough or pushing too hard. Having a coach gave me the accountability, perspective, and confidence to trust the process."
Since joining PXP Endurance, she has become a stronger athlete, earned the opportunity to represent Team USA at the Duathlon World Championships, captured her first National Championship title, and is making an incredible comeback after a traumatic injury.
These stories are reminders that success isn't built on one perfect workout. It's built through smart training, consistency, accountability, and having someone who knows when to push and when to pull back.
Whether your goal is your first finish line, a personal best, or a World Championship podium, the right coaching can unlock potential you didn't know you had.
Congratulations to Jennifer—we're excited to see what's next!
