Written and adapted by Denise Page Caraher, this 45-minute reimagining of the classic tale introduces K–5 students to the magic of live opera, Mozart’s music, and the power of storytelling—while exploring honesty, friendship, and caring for others.

And during National Arts in Education Week, there’s no better time to bring the arts directly to your students.

Our 9th annual Opera in the Park brought an incredible audience together for a gorgeous evening of music, community, and celebration as we officially kicked off Indianapolis Opera’s 52nd season.

We’re thrilled to welcome tenor Joseph McBrayer back to Indy for Indianapolis Opera presents Opera in the Park!

Joseph previously served as our Resident Artist Tenor during the 2020–21 season and has since gone on to perform with Florida Grand Opera, Amarillo Opera, Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, and more.
