We love our pizza at PKS. We love making it, talking about it, and finding all the good stuff that goes with it.

But sometimes you just want someone else to make dinner.

We tried the pizza at Barrett's Quality Eats tonight from their new dinner menu, and it was fantastic. Thin, crispy crust, great toppings. Add in the amazing service and it was a pretty great night out.

A little everyday art from Japan.

These colorful tenugui are traditional Japanese hand towels made from lightweight cotton and hand-dyed. The dye goes through the fabric, so the pattern shows on both sides—and each towel has the subtle variations of something made by hand.

They’re quick-drying, absorbent and versatile: use one as a kitchen towel, hand towel, table accent, or even to wrap a small gift.

And yes, those frayed edges are intentional. Traditional tenugui are left unhemmed, which helps them dry quickly. The edges will soften and settle with use, adding to their casual, well-loved character. Wash in cold water with like colors—the dye may bleed a little at first.
