Foundation matters: predictive maintenance starts with choosing the right Ethernet cabling, then layering edge devices to filter and process machine data. In a recent article published by Plant Services, Dustin Guttadauro, our Product Line Manager specializing in Telecom & Fiber and supporting our L-Com Global Connectivity Company, discusses how this local-first approach cuts latency, keeps critical metrics like speed, temperature, and vibration flowing efficiently, and adds a security buffer between plant floor operations and the cloud.

Infinite Electronics will be showcasing its portfolio of industrial connectivity solutions at IMTS 2026 in Booth #236265. Visitors to the booth will explore advanced technology for automation, robotics, digital manufacturing and harsh environments while learning about Infinite Electronics’ diverse manufacturing expertise.

“Connectivity is the lifeblood of manufacturing, and we’re partnering with OEMs, machine builders and integrators to improve how systems communicate with each other,” said Ashley Smith-Heine, Vice President of Sales & Channel Performance, Infinite Electronics. “IMTS is an ideal forum to engage in meaningful discussion about those efforts and how to better streamline factory operations.”

As reliance on data and AI increases within manufacturing, it has become critical to have an established, reliable infrastructure to transmit data in real time. Among the solutions on display at the booth will be Infinite Electronics’ extensive industrial cabling solutions, including Ethernet, PROFINET, fiber optic and custom cable assemblies through its companies, L-com, Capable and KC Industrie. Capable and KC Industrie have established operations in Europe and are expanding their capabilities and presence for U.S.-based customers. Attendees will learn how each company supplies cabling and connectivity solutions that support plant operations and productivity.

Additionally, Infinite Electronics will have a breadth of connector solutions at the booth from Bulgin, one of its portfolio companies. These components span a range of applications, including ruggedized connectors for harsh environments, sealed circular connectors, and sustainable Vitalis connectors that are IP68- and IP69K-rated.

Infinite experts will be available during IMTS 2026 to provide product demonstrations and answer questions.
