Each child has a personalized education plan that takes their learning style and achievement levels into consideration. We believe that every child has the ability to be successful and our goal is to make learning fun and effective for all students.
Students will have access to state-wide curriculum in addition to goals in functional skill areas including social skills, communication, self-care, community skills, play, safety, leisure etc. Fostering of meaningful friendships between students through enriching activities such as theater, sports, art, and music.
We will reach every student’s potential one step at a time! In STEPPS Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

Ms Brooke, our Academy BCBA, won our Specialist of the Year Award at our Holiday Event on Wednesday evening !
For the specialist of the year selection we included all the team members who provide specialized services like behavior support, speech, Ot, and counseling for example, as well as our tireless administrative staff members. The person chosen to receive this award has not been with our school for a year yet but has made a very positive contribution from the moment they joined the team. The team chose this specialist almost unanimously and they are recognized not just for their clinical skills but also for their ability to support, coach, connect, and communicate with all team members and students. Please help us celebrate Ms Brooke!
