Success With Purpose

Dear Friends,

Some of my favorite experiences have happened because someone simply said, "I want to introduce you to…."

…to a great organization.

…to people who cared about making a difference.

…to an opportunity to learn.

…to an invitation to serve.

Those invitations changed my life for the better.

This week, invite someone to join you - at a volunteer project, a nonprofit event, or our next Success with Purpose gathering.

Purpose is even better when it's shared.

Richard

Are you ready for fall? I know I am.

For much of my early life, I thought purpose might be found on a stage.

Music took me places I never imagined. I performed with major companies like Opera Pacific, at Segerstrom Center for the Arts, Carnegie Hall, and throughout Europe. I was fortunate to experience moments a young performer dreams about: beautiful theaters, world-class musicians, unforgettable pieces of work.

Dear Friends,

When was the last time someone surprised you with a sincere thank-you?

It sticks with you, doesn't it?

We all know people who quietly make things happen. They rarely ask for recognition, but that doesn't mean they don't appreciate it.

This week, think of one person who's made your life a little better.

Send the email. Make the call. Write the note.

A few heartfelt words might be exactly what they needed to hear today.

Richard
