Thank you for supporting my small business and allowing me to continue to express my thoughts, feelings and creativity. I have always been a creative person. Continually "redoing" my house or yard or anything I could get my hands on...I wasn't particularly "artsy", but always creating.....there's only so many times you can repaint your room, and there are rare occasions to share it with others... so that satisfaction is fleeting. The world is filled with such chaos, it's imperative to find a way to calm and connect your soul to meaning and purpose. When I first found resin, it was all consuming for me, an unlimited potential of expression, that I could do over and over and never get the same result. To be able to take some clear resin and a table full of powder and paint and allow my imagination to just run free was such an expressive experience. Manipulating the rainbow of colors until the soul felt completion. Each piece is an expression of that moment in time for me.... all together they read like a diary. If I could keep them all I would, but in order to continue to create and express -I have to share the completed ones with the world. I have a day job (in all honesty a high level, often intense pressure job) .... I sell these not to make a living, but to express my life.... each one can never be recreated, much like a moment in time. Each one captures an essence of that moment; it evokes an emotion when you look at the beautiful play of colors. A beautiful one-of-a-kind gift for someone special or a kindness you give to yourself. I hope you enjoy your piece as much as I loved creating it.

Well day two of roasting....so much glistening...ok so its sweat...lots of nasty sweat but here is where things stand today. Show is in a week and a half.....Im not feeling week and a half away ready 🤪😬🤣🙄🤷♀️🤦♀️

Sunday night weekend update....over the halfway point on creating all the ornament stock for the fall..... less than two months to get everything wrapped up
After having Designs By J for 5 years I finally got the website set up to process orders, so I have started putting ornaments on the website for those who can't get to a show or store to check them out...here are some that are now available on the website.
Keep in mind all are one-of-a-kind so if you see one you like dont wait I cant recreate it 😊

In full swing prepping ornaments for holiday...put in a few hours every morning before work and full days on the weekends. The process is spread out everywhere but got over 600 done...which is amazing since I can only pour 30 at a time because the molds are sold out so gotta work with what is have.

Its Christmas in July at the DBJ workshop....I am in full swing every weekend getting ornaments ready for this holiday season.
Almost 500 poured so far...resin with wood detail. All are one-of-a-kind and come with a branded drawstring pouch and ready to hang with a white ribbon.
