The Spirit speaks, guiding us into all truth and reminding us of the presence of God within us.
The Holy Spirit isn’t someone we believe in; He’s Someone we’re meant to experience in our daily lives.
What if we are missing the whispers because we are too consumed with the noise? In a world that constantly demands our attention, we often overlook the most important voice in our lives. We chase after the spectacular, yearning for thunderous moments, but in doing so, we might be ignoring the gentle nudges of the Spirit within us.
Today, we reflected on the promise that Jesus made: the Holy Spirit will guide us into all truth. This is not just a comforting thought; it is a profound reality that challenges our perceptions. We’ve been conditioned to think that God’s presence is sporadic, based on our performance or circumstances. But the truth is, He is with us forever, and He is speaking. The question is not whether He speaks, but whether we are listening.
We often hear people say, "God told me..." and it raises skepticism. We wonder if those statements truly reflect His character or if they are merely the musings of our own minds. The reality is that the Spirit’s guidance often comes in subtle ways—a nudge, a thought, or an unexpected feeling. It is in the stillness that we encounter Him. The hustle and bustle of our lives can drown out the very voice meant to guide us. It is in our quiet moments that we can discern His leading.
Jesus said His sheep hear His voice. This is an invitation into relationship, not a requirement to perform. Familiarity with His voice comes from spending time with Him. Just as we learn to recognize the voices of those we love, we can learn to recognize the whispers of the Holy Spirit. It requires us to create space, to quiet the distractions, and to simply listen.
As we journey together, let’s remember that the Spirit’s voice will always align with the heart of Jesus. He leads us toward love, peace, and humility. If a voice leads us in a different direction, we must question its source. The Spirit will never contradict the teachings of Jesus or the truth revealed in Scripture. His guidance is gentle, yet firm, and it cultivates growth rather than condemnation.
In this season, let us lean into the truth that the Spirit is actively guiding us. We may not always hear Him clearly, but we can trust in His faithfulness. He is not a distant deity; He is our companion, walking with us through every decision, every challenge, and every triumph. Let’s make it our aim to be attentive to His whispers, to trust His leading, and to follow where He guides. We are not alone.
So let’s quiet our hearts. Let’s release the urgency of our schedules. Let’s invite the Holy Spirit to speak. He hasn’t gone silent. He is here, and He is leading us into deeper truths. May we become more aware of His presence in our everyday lives. Amen.

A lot has changed over the last 30 days, and we are getting closer and closer.
I just shared a new video and full update with photos, progress from around the building, and a look at what’s ahead.
If you’ve followed this journey, prayed for us, encouraged us, or supported us along the way, I’d love for you to take a few minutes to watch and read it.
We’re almost home.

THE HOLY SPIRIT ISN’T ONLY FOR THE HIGHLIGHTS.
He’s there in the hospital room.
In the heartbreak.
In the financial pressure.
At 2AM when you don’t know what to pray.
Your weakness doesn’t scare Him.
Your struggle doesn’t make Him leave.
Same Holy Spirit. Even in the hardest moments.
Your failures do not define you. The Spirit continually reminds you of who you are in Christ.
YOU’RE NOT WAITING ON A MOVE OF GOD.
He already moved.
His presence isn’t dependent on whether you feel it.
He’s here because He promised to be.
Maybe the prayer isn’t, “God, come.”
Maybe it’s, “God, open my eyes.”
