Highlands Fiber Network

Speed is not just one number. Download is what comes in, upload is what goes out, latency is how long the trip takes, and jitter is how steady that trip feels. Together, they shape how smooth your internet feels day to day, from video calls to streaming to sharing files.

The HFN upgrade takes the old Gig plan up to Fiber 2,500.

That means more speed for the stuff people actually notice, like updates, uploads, and big downloads.

We didn’t just build a network; we built a lasting community advantage.

In 2016, a "connected device" meant a screen you actually stared at. In 2026, it includes your security cameras, your vacuum, your doorbell, and even the ambient LED strips on the ceiling.

HFN’s upgraded network is built for multi-gig speeds, so make sure your router can keep up.

Our Wi-Fi Plus Router features Wi-Fi 7, multi-link operation, and 2.5 Gbps backhaul. Pair it with the GigabitNow app and remote support for just $15/month with Wi-Fi Plus.

Phishing is when a scammer pretends to be someone you trust, your bank, your ISP, even Amazon, to trick you into clicking a link or handing over your password. No hacking required. Just a convincing fake. It accounts for 78% of home network attacks because it works. Slow down before you click. 🎣🔒

Wi-Fi 7 is already here if you have a newer flagship device. Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, iPhone 16 series, Google Pixel 8 Pro and 9 Pro, and modern PCs with Wi-Fi 7 chipsets are all ready to take advantage of multi-gig speeds.

Good home network security isn't one thing. It's layers. Multi-factor authentication, a hardware firewall, WPA3 encryption, and regular device audits. Stack them together and you can neutralize 99% of common threats before they ever reach your data.

Wi-Fi 7 is the biggest leap in wireless technology in years. With theoretical speeds up to 46 Gbps, more device capacity, and multi-link operation, it's built for homes that run on connectivity. And it pairs perfectly with fiber.
We recommend the HFN Wi-Fi 7 router. It features multi-link operation and 2.5 Gbps backhaul, paired with the GigabitNow mobile app and remote support. All included with Wi-Fi Plus for $15/mo.

Think fiber is a fire risk? Think again. Fiber optic cables transmit light, not electricity, so there's no heat buildup and no electrical fire risk. Just one more reason fiber is the smarter choice for your home.
