Welcome to Hawkins! Downtown Jackson is all decorated for Halloween, and Hawkins Weekend is here—October 2–4!
Tonight, Friday, we’ve got Voices from the Past, Terror Mills Haunted House, bingo at Rivers Ranch, and the costume contest!
Tomorrow brings the Hawkins 5K, an ’80s concert, art vendors, Stranger Things filming location tours, Slime Lab, and the escape room. There’s also roller skating, miniature golf, and so much more to enjoy throughout the weekend.

Join us Sunday, October 4th for a FREE showing of Practical Magic inside Stranger Tours!
We’ll have free popcorn, sodas and candy, so bring a chair, a blanket or whatever you need to get cozy for this Halloween cult classic.

Welcome to Hawkins!
The mayor got slimed. The president of the Chamber got slimed. Even the wife of Georgia’s lieutenant governor got slimed!
It was all part of today’s celebration in downtown Jackson as our city marks its 200th anniversary. What a perfect way to celebrate and raise money for the Chamber’s foundation focus on youth.
A special thank-you to Wil Rivera for building the machine and to the remarkable local artist Ellen King for being brave enough to test it first!
Best of all, the machine is now available for birthday parties—so you or your favorite person can get slimed, too!
