The Young Adult Program at Central Campus is a service of the Jackson County ISD and primarily serves Special Education students ages 18-26.
The Kit Young Center is located on the Torrant Center campus at 1185 W. Parnall Road in Jackson, Michigan. The Center is a service of the Jackson County Intermediate School District, and has classrooms primarily serving special education students ages 18-26 with Moderately Cognitive Impairments (MoCI) as well as multiple impairments. The purpose of its programs is to provide community education, mobility, pre-vocational and vocational training in various actual real life settings resulting in successful community utilization and development of skills of community independence. We believe in building upon each students individual level of functioning, fostering the attainment of their highest possible level of achievement.
Just a reminder that the Young Adult Program picture day is tomorrow.....

Young Adult Program hard at work!
Sorry for any confusion today on summer school. The North Campus (Lyle Torrant Center) is at Camp McGregor this week and cancelled their afternoon programming. This does not effect the Young Adult Program and Central Campus. We will be running our summer program at our normal times 8:30-2:30.
