Operation Shoestring

Our afterschool and summer program provides exposure to horizon expanding experiences for kids while providing intensive academic tutoring and support.

Kids in our programs typically outperform their peers academically and have fewer disciplinary incidents in school, both of which are often predictors of future success. Higher rates of literacy and other indicators of academic achievement are also correlated with higher high school graduation rates and postsecondary attainment rates.
