I recently created a very large Donors Choose project for a whole class set of the coolest Marty Robots! Take a peek- today with the code BIRTHDAY all donations will be matched!

We are all settled into our new STEM Lab space! To start out the year, students are having fun learning about collaboration, creativity, and how robots work! 🖤❤️

Our page may have been quiet lately, but there’s been no shortage of excitement in our STEM Lab! Our students have been exploring hands-on learning with Intelino trains—an engaging tool that combines creativity, problem-solving, and coding.

Students are challenged to design and build tracks, use code blocks to control train functions (like adjusting speed, stopping to pick up passengers, or changing direction), test their setups, and make improvements along the way.

It’s been an incredible learning experience—and yes, we’re having a lot of fun, too!

2nd grade students used LEGO WeDo kits to build a science Rover named Milo. They programmed Milo to save wildlife from a volcano and bring it back to their science labs. A great use of collaboration, problem solving, and critical thinking skills! 🌋

STEM at NWEE is off to a GREAT start! Hands on learning and collaboration are the key to success in our classroom- check out just a few of the things we have been up to!

Taking STEM to the ball game! ⚾🧢
Students built a bat on their Finch robot using Legos and programmed them to hit the ball. ♥️🖤

Fun with Finch robots this week! 🤖
