Ever wonder who’s behind the solar projects you see taking shape?
It’s our crews.
Our in-house installation teams bring experience, training and a strong commitment to safety to every project we build. They follow detailed safety protocols, stay current on training and work together to keep projects moving efficiently from the first step of construction to the final installation.
Having our own crews means we can maintain greater consistency and oversight throughout the build. We know the people doing the work, we know the standards we expect and we take pride in the finished product.
Because building a solar system that lasts starts with building it right. ☀️

🔋 What if your battery could do more than store energy?
Battery energy storage can help businesses lower energy costs, manage periods of high electricity demand and even create opportunities to earn additional revenue by supporting the grid.
These opportunities are known as grid services, and they can add even more value to a battery energy storage system.
Learn how businesses can put their batteries to work and unlock more value from their energy investment.

We’re at the World Dairy Expo in Madison, WI this week, connecting with dairy producers and talking about the future of energy in agriculture. 🐮☀️
For dairy operations, energy is a major part of day-to-day operations. From milking systems and cooling to ventilation and other equipment, the demand adds up. Solar can help offset those energy needs while creating a long-term energy asset for the farm.
Pasch Dairy is one example. Their 176 kW solar array is helping support the farm’s energy needs while contributing to a long-term investment in the future of the operation.
Curious what that looks like in practice? Take a look at the Pasch Dairy case study to learn more about the project and its results.

Another big project is almost complete! ☀️
We’re wrapping up installation at The Dean – Apartments at Eastlawn in Midland, MI, where we’re installing 405 kW of rooftop solar across six newly built apartment buildings.
Each building has approximately 67 kW of solar, with the systems connected directly to the buildings to help offset the electricity used throughout the property.
The impact is significant. The system is projected to offset approximately 50% of the entire complex’s annual electricity usage. With 204 apartments, that’s equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of more than 100 apartments.
And with an estimated 6-year payback, the system is expected to continue producing electricity for 30+ years.
That means a solar investment made today can continue providing value to this community and its tenants for decades to come.
We’re proud to see solar become part of The Dean from day one.

Happy first day of fall! 🍂
Summer may be over, but that doesn’t mean the sunshine goes away. In fact, solar panels can perform efficiently in cooler temperatures, making those crisp fall days great for solar production.
For businesses, solar is a year-round investment. When you receive a solar proposal, you’ll see your system’s projected energy production throughout the year, including how production changes from season to season.
The leaves may be changing, but your opportunity to save on energy costs doesn’t have to. ☀️🍂

What can battery storage do for your business beyond backup power?
A Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) can help businesses better manage when they use electricity and how much they pay for it.
Three ways battery storage can help lower energy costs:
⚡ Store energy when rates are lower and use it when rates rise
☀️ Capture excess solar energy to use later
📉 Help reduce costly peaks in energy demand
Every facility is different, so the right approach depends on your energy use, utility rates and operations.
Want to learn more about how BESS can work for your business?
