From Wild West Day with boots, hats, and Western flair 🤠, to Favorite Sports Team Day showing off some team pride 🏈⚾🏀, and Tacky Day with bold, colorful, and wonderfully mismatched outfits 🌈😎—our IT crew had a blast joining in the fun!

We may spend our days solving tech problems and keeping everything running smoothly, but we definitely know how to have lots of fun along the way! 💻✨

Lee has a strong passion for technology and enjoys troubleshooting, learning new systems, and solving complex problems. He holds an Associate Degree in Computer Science and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in software engineering.

His commitment to continuous learning and professional growth reflects the dedication and curiosity that are essential in the ever-evolving field of Information Technology.

Outside of work, Lee enjoys strength training and spending time with family and friends. We are excited to have him as part of the team and look forward to the knowledge, enthusiasm, and contributions he will bring to Information Technology Services.

Please join us in welcoming Andru Catchings to the Jackson Public Schools Information Technology Services Department as our newest Network Analyst!

Andru brings a passion for technology and over 10 years of experience building and working with computers. His enthusiasm for learning, troubleshooting, and problem-solving makes him a valuable addition to our team.

Outside of work, Andru enjoys going to the movies and playing video games. Since joining JPS, he has been actively learning the systems, processes, and protocols that support our district's technology operations.

The team participated in a facilitated session on the practical use and governance of artificial intelligence at work, lead by Aaron of Peritix. The team zoned in on the interactive session and enjoyed the hands on approach and group participation. We thank this month’s Town Hall host for their partnership and for helping to give the team a practical, relevant conversation around AI, security, and responsible use!

We’re excited to welcome Adrianna into her new role as Administrative Secretary for the Executive Director of IT!

Adrianna began her journey with Jackson Public Schools as a Clerk at ECDC, where she demonstrated her dedication and commitment to serving others. She was later promoted to Bookkeeper and has now transitioned into her newest role, bringing her experience, positive energy, and passion for helping others to the IT team.

Adrianna truly thrives in being of service and assisting others, both in and outside of the workplace. Her core strengths include being a progressive and free thinker, independent, humanitarian, and original qualities that make her a unique and valuable addition to the team.

Outside of work, Adrianna enjoys fine outdoor dining at sunset, solo movies—because sometimes the best company is your own—and exploring home and architectural design and structures. She appreciates beautiful spaces, unique designs, and discovering the stories and creativity behind the places people call home.
