Each of our Zero Su***de Summit speakers brings a unique perspective to the shared goal of su***de prevention. Meet our final St. Johns Zero Su***de Summit speaker, Passion Roberts.

Passion is a 2026 graduate of Fernandina Beach High School and will be attending the University of Miami in the fall on the pre-law track with plans to attend the University of Miami School of Law to become an attorney. She was on FBHS Hope Squad all four years of high school and served on the Hope Squad National Council her junior/senior year.

Harper is a school social worker for the Nassau County School District, also serving as the Hope Squad Advisor at Fernandina Beach High School and as one of the District Threat Management Coordinators and trainer. Harper graduated from Florida State University where she earned her bachelor's degree and master's degree in social work.

The Zero Su***de Summit in St. Johns County is bringing together professionals dedicated to improving mental health and saving lives. We're pleased to spotlight Stephanie Canton Whaley who will be joining us as a speaker.

Chief Whaley began her career as a part-time EMT in 1995 before joining St. Johns County Emergency Medical Services full time as a paramedic in 1996. Over the past 30 years, she has advanced through the ranks from firefighter to lieutenant, captain, Training Division chief, deputy chief of EMS and, in 2019, operations chief. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Flagler College in 2007 and a master's degree from Barry University in 2013.
