🏁 NCQMA Championship Series Race #11 — Animal & World Formula Cup! 🏁

Another great day of racing in North Carolina as we get closer to wrapping up the 2026 season!

Heavy Honda:
Gage started P6 in the heat race and was able to tuck in behind George Kincel and follow him through the field, bringing it home P3. We finally found a little more speed in our Honda here in North Carolina and made a couple more changes heading into the A-main.

Starting P3 in the A-main, Gage jumped into second behind Easton Wedge on the start and held the position for the opening laps before George Kincel worked his way around. George eventually made the pass on Easton for the lead, while Gage and Easton battled back and forth, swapping the second position. At the checkered flag, it was George Kincel P1, Easton Wedge P2, and Gage Sizemore P3.

Spider Free Heavy World Formula:
The starting order was determined by pill draw, with Easton Wedge starting P1, Daniel Bergen P2, and Gage P3.

Easton got the jump on the start, but Gage quickly tucked in behind him and worked his way to the lead within the first couple of laps. From there, Gage dominated the rest of the race and brought home the Heavy World Formula Cup WIN! 🏆

🥇 Spider Free Heavy World Formula — WIN & CUP CHAMPION!

ATS Ship Now Heavy 160:
Gage started P2 in the heat and made a huge power move around the outside, taking the lead going into Turn 3 on the opening lap. From there, he checked out for a dominant heat-race win, earning the pole for the A-main.

In the A-main, Gage picked up right where he left off, leading flag to flag for another dominant Heavy 160 victory! 🏁🏆

That victory puts us another step closer to the North Carolina Championship Series Championship, with just ONE race remaining!

Also, a big congratulations to Elliott Troiano Little E Racing on his Senior Animal Cup win! 🏆 Great job, Elliott!

It has been an awesome season so far, and now we're down to the final stretch. We're going to take the next few weeks off to regroup and prepare for NCQMA Championship Series Race #12 on October 24th.

After that, we'll finish out our 2026 season with the Huntsville National and the North Georgia Dixie Shootout Series race.

🏁 THREE WINS AT DAYTONA! 🏆🏆🏆

Another awesome day in Florida for GBS Racing at the Dixie Shootout Series at Daytona International Speedway!

The A-Mains are complete, and Gage is coming home with 3 out of 4 wins!

🏁 Heavy Honda — P5
Gage started P7 and wasted no time charging toward the front, battling his way all the way up to P2 early in the race. Unfortunately, we just didn't have a fast enough car to stay up front today, and he eventually fell back to finish P5.

🏆 Heavy World Formula — WIN!
Started P1 and had to survive several cautions and restarts throughout the race. Gage stayed composed, defended the top spot every time, and brought home the A-Main WIN!

🏆 Heavy 160 — WIN!
Another P1 start and another long, caution-filled race. Gage battled through restart after restart, maintained the lead, and took home WIN #2!

🏆 Unrestricted Animal — WIN!
Started P1, jumped out front, and absolutely never looked back. A caution-free, flag-to-flag dominant victory to finish off the weekend!

Three classes. Three A-Main wins. 🏆🏆🏆

This was our second trip to Florida this year with the Dixie Shootout Series, and once again we're heading home with some hardware!

🏁 DIXIE SHOOTOUT SERIES — DAYTONA UPDATE! 🏁

Heat races are officially in the books here at Daytona International Speedway, and it’s been a great day so far for GBS Racing!

🔴 Heavy Honda — Gage started P2 but fell all the way to the back early. He battled his way back through the field to finish P4, which puts him P1 in the B Main. Top four transfer, so we’ve got some work to do!

🔥 Heavy World Formula — Started P6 with an extremely fast race car. Gage charged all the way to P2 and was all over the rear bumper of the leader but just couldn’t quite pull the trigger on the pass. He brought it home P2, and with passing points, Gage will start ON THE POLE for the A Main!

💪 Heavy 160 — Started P2 and made a huge power move around the outside at the start to grab the lead on lap one. From there, he never looked back and drove away with a dominating heat-race win! Passing points put him P1 for the A Main!

🚀 Unrestricted Animal — Started P5 and made a spectacular move on the opening lap to take the lead. Once again, he never looked back! A dominating P5 ➡️ P1 run earned a pile of passing points and puts Gage ON THE POLE for the Unrestricted Animal A Main!

So that’s THREE POLE STARTS already locked in for the A Mains — Heavy World Formula, Heavy 160, and Unrestricted Animal! 🔥🔥🔥

Lower mains are running now, and our next race is the Heavy Honda B Main, where we need to finish in the top four to transfer into the A.

And we have to give a HUGE shout-out to Raptor Racing Engines. These motors have been absolutely AWESOME! 💪 We certainly couldn’t do it without Raptor Ryan and everything he does to give Gage the horsepower to go forward.

And just as important, a huge thank-you to Ultimate QM for these incredible chassis. When you combine great horsepower with great race cars, it gives Gage the tools he needs to go out there and do his job.

Three poles locked in. One transfer left to earn. Now it’s time to go finish the job at Daytona! 🏁🏆

What an awesome weekend for GBS Racing and Gage Sizemore at North Carolina Quarter Midget Association (NCQMA) ! 🏆🏆🏆🏆

There was a lot on the line this weekend at NCQMA. The Fall National used a special points format, with points awarded for qualifying, Saturday’s A-Main, and Sunday’s A-Main to determine the Fall National champion in each class.

This weekend also served as the final leg of the North Carolina Triple Crown, which combined results from three events this season — the NC Dixie Shootout, Carolina Clash, and North Carolina Fall National.

Here’s how Sunday wrapped up:

🏁 HEAVY HONDA

Gage started P2 in Sunday’s A-Main and settled into fourth early. He was able to work his way into third, but with the race going caution-free, we just didn’t get another opportunity to move forward.

Gage started Sunday’s A-Main from the pole, jumped out to the lead early, and pulled away for another dominant win!

We came into the weekend still fighting for the Triple Crown as well. Unfortunately, some bad luck while leading both the Dixie and the Clash earlier this season proved costly. After all three events, we came up just TWO POINTS SHORT of the Triple Crown Championship.

Another pole position for Sunday’s A-Main, and another great race.

Gage jumped out to the early lead and slowly stretched the gap, taking the checkered flag in commanding fashion!
