MUSH Rescue is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of Siberian Huskies MUSH Rescue is not a shelter with visiting hours.
We are comprised of a network of foster homes run entirely by volunteers. Our chapter directors, officers, and trustees are also volunteers. What brings us together is our love for Siberian Huskies and the desire to help these displaced animals find their fur-ever homes. As a nonprofit, federal tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, our expenses are funded by adoption fees and donations. We rely on the generosity of others who, like us, understand and admire the complexity of this unique and highly intelligent breed, and want to help combat the effects of pet overpopulation in our community.

Luna's family keeps her outside, and she is afraid to come inside. She is 2 years old and needs to get current on vetting. Luna has learned to escape her yard and is usually in the neighbor's yard. She is totally untrained and has been neglected. The neighbors have taught her a few basic things, and she is very smart but needs an experienced Husky handler. "The owner asked me to find her a home because AC has been called, and she runs the whole neighborhood. The owner has a sick daughter and a 2-month-old she cares for." Luna is gorgeous, 2 years old in August, a fairly gentle player, and loves people, dogs, and kids. She needs a six-foot fence because she climbs.

I rescued this beautiful boy off the street in my neighborhood. He has a chip, but the owners have not contacted me. I also posted on Nextdoor, Pet Boost, and Pet Co Love. I also notified the shelter. He is very sweet and mellow, loves car rides, and walks great on a leash. He is definitely used to being inside.

Help me find this sweet girl her forever home. She is 4 yrs old, spayed, microchipped, fully house-trained, and crate-trained. Considered a Husky mix. She is great with kids, dogs, and cats. She is super affectionate, playful, and well-behaved- she even knows a few tricks: "sit", "shake", "down". She weighs about 50 pounds. Will include her crate, bag of treats, and water/food bowl to anyone who will love, care for, and take her in. She is an escape artist!
