𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀.

At Dunedin Golf Club, those details meant restoring the character of a historic Donald Ross design while building the infrastructure needed to support its future.

XGD Systems - Precision Services / TDI Golf US was proud to play a key role in bringing this major restoration to reality.

The project included:
🔹 Restoration of all greens
🔹 Reconstruction of greenside and fairway bunkers
🔹 New championship tees
🔹 Fairway grading and reshaping
🔹 Major drainage improvements
🔹 New turf throughout tees, fairways, surrounds and greens

But this project was about more than construction.

Much of the original character of Donald Ross's design had been hidden beneath decades of modifications. The restoration provided an opportunity to uncover that character—and bring it forward for a new generation of golfers.

The result: a historic golf course restored for the future and recognized by 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝗰. 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 – 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘀.

𝗫𝗚𝗗 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 - 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 / 𝗧𝗗𝗜 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗳 𝗨𝗦, projects like Dunedin are a reminder of what successful golf course construction demands:

𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆. 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀. 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲.

🏌️‍♂️ 𝗔 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗴𝗼𝗹𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻. 𝗜𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

It starts with a line in the turf. It ends with a better-performing course. ⛳️

Layout → excavation → pipe installation → restoration.

There’s a lot of work that goes underneath a golf course to make sure what’s above it performs the way it should.

Our XGD Drainage crew has been working in the North East, it's chilly but we are working and the members are out playing too.
