Katherine Pauer-Author

So happy to share that my first ever collection "Birds of Maryland" is on display (and for sale) at the Robinson Nature Center. Definitely stop by and check it out :)

Katherine Hildebrand's artwork is available and on display at the Robinson Nature Center through the end of December. As a student of biology and environmental science, and a resident of Gaithersburg, Katherine was drawn to Maryland's native birds. Her first art series showcases five native species, and our gift shop has some of her 5 x 7 prints available for you to take home.

You all remember those packaged tree swallow prints I posted? Well you can buy them (along with some of my other prints) at The Bird & Garden Store in Gaithersburg.

Here is the address for those that live nearby and want to check it out 🙂. It's a really nice store to get all things bird related and staff are very nice.

I am so excited to see where this will lead

Been getting over a cold but wanted to show you all a sneak peek of some of my packaged prints.

Will explain more in the weeks to come 😉

Been working on a few more storyboard illustrations for my next book and I gotta say its been a challenge, trying to sketch out what's in my head and then having different ideas float in and out (or sometimes not at all).

But then I remind myself (sometimes multiple times in one day) that something like this shouldn't be rushed or pushed when I have no inspiration. I know my next book will be a work of art and I hope you all will enjoy the journey with me 💙

Happy First Day of Spring everyone, I am excited to see what this tulip will look like once fully grown and blooming 🌷.

Hope your spring is filled with beautiful flowers and lots of singing birds 🐦

A little late in posting but earlier this winter I completed the Wild Wonder Nature Journaling Educator Program 🙂

Stop by my booth and make a nature journaling kit during the Women in STEM event on Saturday, February 7.
