At Tate, sustainability and community impact go hand in hand.
Our St. Paul, Virginia manufacturing facility is investing in a new rainwater harvesting system that will provide much-needed water to the local fire department.
Once installed, the rainwater tank will collect approximately 30,000 gallons of rainwater each month, enough to fulfill the fire department's typical water needs for emergency response and regular training activities.
By capturing and reusing rainwater, this project will save potable water and strengthen local emergency response capabilities, supporting both our Planet Passionate targets and the St. Paul community.

In honor of Planet Passionate Week, we’re spotlighting the positive impact Tate employees are making in our local communities.
Members of the Tate team volunteered with Robinson Nature Center in Columbia, MD, where they spent the morning gardening and removing invasive plants. Their efforts helped maintain the center’s natural spaces to support a healthier local ecosystem and preserve an environment that the entire community can enjoy.
