During our visit to Sitka this weekend to celebrate cancer survivors, we had the opportunity to experience the beautiful Path of Hope—an inspiring community park created by the Sitka Cancer Survivor's Society. Winding paths, benches, uplifting messages, and the symbolic Book of Hope provide a peaceful place for reflection, encouragement, and healing. The park stands as a meaningful tribute to cancer survivors, caregivers, and loved ones, while offering a welcoming space for the entire Sitka community.

Gunalchéesh and thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating National Cancer Survivors Day earlier this month and walked alongside us in honor of survivors, caregivers, and those we hold in our hearts.
Whether you walked, volunteered, performed, shared a hug, or simply stood with us, you helped create a day filled with connection and encouragement.
We are deeply grateful to each and every person who participated and helped make this special gathering possible. Thank you for reminding us that no one faces cancer alone.
