Generations Southeast Community Learning Center

Generations Southeast is expanding pathways to skilled careers, with the groundbreaking of a new student dormitory on Prince of Wales Island.

The new housing will help remove a significant barrier for students traveling from communities throughout Southeast Alaska to participate in hands-on career and technical training.

With support from partners and leaders, including TVEP funding secured with the support of Senator Bert Stedman, Generations Southeast continues to strengthen the infrastructure needed to prepare the region’s next generation of skilled workers.

The investment represents more than new facilities—it’s an investment in people, workforce readiness and the long-term economic strength of Southeast Alaska.
