Today, we remember. 🇺🇸

We remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, the first responders who ran toward danger, the survivors, the people who lived and worked nearby, and those who are still living with illnesses connected to that day more than two decades later.

September 11 changed countless lives in ways that didn’t end when the smoke cleared.

It also reminded us how quickly life can change, how deeply we need one another, and how much the people we love really matter.

Hold your people close. Be kind. Make the memories. Don’t keep waiting for someday. ❤️🤍💙

🐾 One year ago today, we went and picked up this tiny little Baby Rasta Dog, and named him Tuna. 🥹🐾🩵❤️💛💚

And we’ve pretty much been laughing, loving, and saying “TUNA!” ever since. 😂

For the last 365 days, this little lunatic has been loved beyond measure. He sleeps in our bed, eats home cooked meals, gets lots of boat days, gets walks every single day, has almost complete freedom, and pretty much never has to spend a single second alone.

And in return, we got the sweetest, funniest, happiest, most emotionally unregulated little creature we could possibly love this much 🤣🩵

He has been A LOT. 😂 He gets so excited about life that sometimes his entire brain just leaves his body. He doesn’t mean to be a tiny lunatic. He simply has feelings bigger than his current ability to contain them. 🤣 He’s learning how to control those big emotions a little better, but the boy just LOVES LIFE and sometimes all 10.2 pounds of him simply cannot contain it 😂🩵

But he’s learning. We’re learning. And underneath all that chaos is such a ridiculously sweet little soul.🩵

We love this dog more than words can explain. He’s our baby boy. Our boat dog. Our bed hog. Our daily entertainment. Our tiny psychopath. 😂 And somehow, even on the days when he drives us absolutely insane, we wouldn’t trade him for anything.💯

We wish every dog in the world could know what it feels like to be this loved. 🩷🐾🙏🏼

But just to be clear…

we are absolutely not getting another one… yet. 🤣🤣🤣
