🦅 In celebration of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge, the Friends of Loxahatchee are hosting the first-ever bioblitz at the Refuge! Conservation leaders from all around South Florida will lead small groups on hikes throughout the Refuge. Each hike will focus on specific wildlife observations (birds, amphibians, butterflies and native plants).

Join us at Florida Climate Week™ 🌎🌿
🏞️Participants will be guided through breathing exercises, mindful reflection, gentle stretching and beginner-friendly yoga while enjoying the peaceful setting of the river at sunset. The program will encourage participants to observe the natural environment, appreciate the importance of clean waterways and green spaces, and reflect on the role individuals and neighborhoods play in protecting local ecosystems.
