Those that are sick, injured, abused, neglected and abandoned are our top priority regardless of breed or age. All of them are precious and are deserving of the best care we can provide. Furry Friends' No-Kill Mission ensures that each animal in our care receives the best possible medical treatment, love and attention while awaiting its forever home. As a No-Kill shelter, Furry Friends allows the animals in our adoption program the time needed to heal wounded bodies and broken spirits before beginning their new lives with the very special people who open their homes and their hearts by adopting them. Furry Friends also believes that the answer to pet overpopulation and the suffering it causes is through sterilization, not euthanasia. Furry Friends has been a pioneer in low cost and juvenile spay/neuter since 1985. Furry Friend’s full service veterinary hospital is open to the public and is part of the overall charitable organization. Furry Friend’s veterinary clients receive top notch medical care from our three full time veterinarians and experienced and dedicated support staff. Our veterinary clinic is open Monday- Friday, 8am-6pm and on Saturday from 8am-1pm

Woodie came to us as an urgent rescue request, his little body coated in a tar-like substance. 💔
To help him heal, our medical team had to shave most of his fur and amputate part of his tail.
And somehow, after everything he’s been through, Woodie is still the SWEETEST boy. 🥹 He wants nothing more than to curl up close, cuddle and soak up all the love (and warmth!) he can get while his fur grows back.
Now the hard part is behind him. Woodie is safe, healing beautifully and officially available for adoption. ❤️

This hands-on Kind Minds workshop gets kids away from the screens and doing something fun with a purpose. They’ll learn about animals, kindness and giving back while making treats for our shelter pets.
