The feeling never gets old. ❤️

To the friends who returned and the new friends we met last night, thank you for filling The Historic Sims House with so much warmth, laughter, and love.

Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, rehearsal dinner, welcome party, or simply a night together, being chosen to share in your lives means more to me than you know. These are your special moments, and we’re grateful to play a small part in them.

Looking through these photos, I can’t help but smile. The faces, the friendships, the memories being made in this little historic home… this is why we do what we do.

I try never to take it for granted. Thank you for trusting us with your celebrations and for becoming part of our story while allowing us to be part of yours.

With a full heart,
Ernie and our Sims House family ❤️

Last night was one of those evenings at The Sims House that touched my heart.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Milva and Baron from Spoto’s, along with two other restaurant owners who joined us for the evening. Having people who pour their hearts into their own restaurants choose to spend a night with us means more than I can say.

There’s something special about being able to sit together, share stories, and enjoy the hospitality we each work so hard to give others. Behind every little restaurant are people, families, and a whole lot of heart. When we show up for one another, that sense of community grows.

To Milva, Baron, our fellow restaurant owners, and every guest who walks through our doors, thank you for sharing your time and your love with us. I try never to take any of this for granted. I’m humbled by the friendships this little historic home continues to bring into our lives.

With a grateful heart,
Ernie ❤️

Our flight path is set!

Something exciting is coming to The Sims House☕️

Over the years, we’ve listened closely to our friends, our family, and the members of the Jupiter Historical Society the people who have helped us build such a special community within these historic walls.

This season, we’re excited to welcome Whitecap Coffee for a special pop up experience at The Sims House.

Whitecap was introduced to us by our dear friends at Runway Reform, and from the moment we discovered what they had created, we knew they belonged on our stage.

We’re also excited for more of our community to discover Runway Reform, meet the wonderful people behind it, and experience what makes them so special. Supporting and connecting unique local businesses is an important part of the community we continue to build here.

This is about more than bringing great coffee to The Sims House. It’s about bringing good people together, showcasing what they’ve created, and giving our community another reason to gather, connect, and enjoy this one of a kind historic property.

We can’t wait to share more with you very soon.

The Sims House doesn’t look like a restaurant from the road; it has no flashy signage out front to advertise its presence. But it’s one of the most unique restaurants in the area, a testament to the exciting possibilities around preserving Old Florida.

Regardless of the outcome, just want to say thank you to Jupiter Magazine for what you continue to do for our community.

The Best of Jupiter is about so much more than winning an award. It brings attention to the restaurants, shops, small businesses, professionals, and people who pour their hearts into this community every single day.

Most importantly, you bring us together. You remind us how many special people and places we have right here in our own backyard and give all of us an opportunity to celebrate one another.

We’re grateful to have been included, grateful to everyone who took the time to vote, and proud simply to be part of this incredible Jupiter community.

Congratulations to every nominee and every winner and thank you, Jupiter Magazine, for continuing to shine a light on the community we all love. Our Town of Jupiter

Sometimes you wonder if people truly understand what you’re trying to create.

And then you wake up to messages like these. ❤️

Last evening, several of our guests took the time to send us their thoughts about their night at The Historic Sims House. I read every one of them, and I can’t tell you how much they mean to me.

They talked about the intimacy of the house. The food. The service. The history. One guest said being here “brought me back to home.” Another shared how meaningful it was, as a multi generational Florida native, to dine somewhere his grandfather and great grandfather might have enjoyed.

And another called places like ours “the heart beats of their community.”

That one really stayed with me.

Because this is exactly why we do what we do.

We never set out to be the biggest restaurant, the busiest restaurant, or to be everything to everyone. We wanted to preserve a special piece of Jupiter, open its doors, and create a place where people could slow down, share a meal, make a memory, and feel something.

To our guests from last evening thank you. Thank you for seeing what we’re trying to preserve and for appreciating the passion behind it.

And to our entire Sims House family, thank you for making our guests feel at home.

Messages like these remind me that this little old house is doing exactly what it was meant to do — bringing people together.

From my family to yours, thank you for allowing us to continue sharing this very special piece of Jupiter. ❤️

A sincere thank you to all of our visitors, friends, and neighbors who continue to come to The Historic Sims House — not only for dinner, but for the history, the experience, and everything this special place represents.

I’m truly humbled to have the opportunity to share this incredible centerpiece of our Town of Jupiter with so many of you.

The Sims House has stood here for more than a century, and being able to open its doors, preserve its history, and watch new memories being made here means more to me than I can put into words.

Thank you for supporting The Sims House, its history, and our little piece of Jupiter. ❤️

*Special thank you to Johna, for bringing another historic milestone event to the sims house.

Although The Sims House is not affiliated with Kind Diners Society Community, I wanted to take a moment to recognize someone who has meant a great deal to me personally and to so many in our industry.

Taylor Morgan is the kind of person our hospitality community needs more of. She genuinely cares about restaurant owners, chefs, servers, bartenders, and the countless people who work tirelessly to create memorable experiences for others. She’s always encouraging, always supportive, and always willing to remind people that there’s a human being behind every restaurant.

Owning a restaurant isn’t always easy, and having people like Taylor in your corner means more than she probably realizes. Thank you for being a positive voice, for building community, and for looking out for those of us who dedicate our lives to hospitality.

We may not be associated with the organization, but we’re proud to call Taylor a friend and grateful for everything she does for our industry.

Last night was absolutely beautiful.

To every friend, neighbor, and first-time visitor who joined us at The Historic Sims House… thank you. We are truly humbled by the incredible people who continue to walk through our doors.

We know we’re not mainstream. We know we don’t have a big sign or the biggest marketing budget. That’s never really been who we are.

We’re simply grateful for the opportunity to be caretakers of this special historic home, to preserve a small piece of Jupiter’s history, and to share it with our community one dinner at a time.

Thank you for believing in what we’re doing, for supporting local, and for allowing us to continue this journey. We don’t take a single reservation for granted
