is West Michigan's cinema rental boutique, and before they existed, getting real cinema glass meant a drive to Detroit or Chicago. Now it's a quick trip to Grand Rapids, where Tom, Nathan, and the crew know their inventory inside and out and will even bail you out mid-shoot if something goes down.

Shot vs setup.
Every clean frame starts as a plan on paper. Lighting positions, camera placement, where each source lands. Then the room fills with gear and crew, and all that work disappears into the scene.
Top to bottom: the plan, the setup, the shot. Most people only ever see that last one.

Kalamazoo Event Center Docuseries: Built for Kalamazoo — Episode 1 is out now. The first in a multi-part series following the development of the Kalamazoo Event Center — future home of , , and major events throughout Southwest Michigan.
Episode 1 starts the journey toward a planned opening in the Fall of 2027.

A few Director's frame selects from "Welcome to the Club," a video for
"Writing this did not feel like work. Matt and Marlin allowed me to really experiment with how a project for the clubhouse could play out. And that trust allowed us to create something really cool and fabulistic. A lot of people watching this won't realize that the concept of kids having a hand in the design of the building wasn't just a fantasy aspect of the story. Kids actually voted on what the facility would include, down to the furniture. They trust that kids know what they want and they just provide the support for it. It's probably cheesy to say that making this made me feel like a little kid with a VHS camera again. But it did. I was able to put my full effort into something I'm obsessed with and grow because of it. And I have no doubt that's exactly how the members feel at the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Kalamazoo." — Zach Noonan, Writer/Director
