Long before we had even sort of thought about a side business in event planning, Adam and I have been putting together centerpieces, photo booth backdrops, party favors, and every craft you could possibly imagine.

Here are some photos from a baby shower my sister and I put together for our friend, Meghan so long ago that the baby is now in school! I loved the little touches from the childhood stories mixed with more elegant touches like the doilies and moss. It was so much fun!

I had the honor and privilege of helping my best friend to decorate for her sweet grandma’s celebration of life this week. We used her grandmother’s teacups to create centerpieces with live flowers, centered them on chargers with chiffon runners, then mocked up some of her favorite quotes with artwork to match the lavender theme. The centerpieces and quotes made great keepsakes, and it was all made in the spirit of what my BFF said her grandma, Donna would have done at her own party. It was a sad occasion, but full of so much love and I was so honored to be a part of it.

We had an awesome time at Ayasofya for trivia tonight, and we’re excited to start a new biweekly tradition with them! Here’s our schedule for the rest of July:

Meet the people behind the posts!

I’m Jasmine, and I do most of the posting. My husband, Adam and I are major pop culture junkies. We spent years on the craft show scene but have switched gears this past year to combine our mutual love of making things with themed entertainment! We celebrated 16 years together and 12 years married this past June. When we aren’t watching TV, we love traveling (especially to Chicago) and raising our puppy, Sadie Mae! We’re also trying to visit all of the MLB parks, and we’ve knocked out 17 so far. ❤️

We’re not just trivia! As much as we love our trivia nights, behind it all is a love for themes and creativity. Here are some photos from my twin sister’s and my 35th birthday party last October! If you have a vision in mind, we can work with it, and we’re passionate about doing it affordably. This whole party was inspired by a pack of balloons I saw on Amazon!
