Three students from Adams Public High School in South Bend, Indiana traveled to Witten, Germany 🇩🇪 for a 10-day cultural exchange in June 2026 as part of FLAG's Short-Term Exchange Program. https://bit.ly/4wZSyrH

The visit was the second half of a reciprocal partnership between Adams Public High School and Albert Martmöller Gymnasium (AMG). In October 2025, 12 students from AMG spent three weeks in South Bend, building friendships and experiencing American school and family life.

During their time in Germany, the students explored local landmarks, museums, and cultural attractions while taking memorable day trips to the Nightingale Mining Museum and the historic city of Cologne. They also attended classes at Albert Martmöller Gymnasium, where they learned more about German history, language, and culture alongside their host students.

Living with local host families gave the students an authentic look at everyday life in Germany while creating meaningful international friendships. This successful partnership between the two schools will continue as a bi-annual exchange program, providing future students with the opportunity to learn, grow, and connect across cultures.

🇦🇷✈️ From Cincinnati to Buenos Aires, global learning came to life this summer!

Nine students from McNicholas Catholic High School spent two unforgettable weeks in Buenos Aires, Argentina, immersed in language, culture, and daily life through FLAG's reciprocal short-term exchange program (STEP).

Students attended classes at Instituto Nuestra Señora de Las Nieves, lived with local host families, explored iconic cultural landmarks, and even shared presentations about life in America with younger Argentinian students. 💙

What made this exchange even more meaningful? Many students stayed with the very same families who had welcomed their Argentinian exchange student to Cincinnati earlier this year—creating lasting friendships and a truly reciprocal experience that connected families across continents.

These are the moments that build confidence, cultural understanding, and lifelong global connections.
